I deleted 3 of my previous tracks.

because I realized that I started making some mediocre tracks. it seems like I really can't do anything normal for this site anymore, and there's a chance that I'll switch to streaming venues. Because I'm very tired, seriously. I don't know what to do anymore or how to keep making tracks. I want something more, I want to become the best musicians, but I didn't know it would happen again. I tried to do something unique or not monotonous, but no one perceived it. I feel like it's the end of the time when I was productive and made the kind of music that many people liked, but now everything is different.

I have to think about it all. because even a regular break from all this won't help here.

but it would seem that I have a good number of subscribers, but only a few of them are really willing to listen to my music, and I really appreciate them. But it still feels like this is the end of everything I've been actively doing for two years.

So, I need to think about all this. don't lose anyway, it doesn't mean that I'm leaving this site forever, Newgrounds is what I live by and it will be difficult for me to just delete my account, because it would be stupid to delete my two years of work, because at what cost I achieved it all.

I’ve done that before, in fact, I’m pretty sure even @Waterflame has done that before, there’s a few news posts he made back in 2007-2008 that show that he wanted to delete 10 tracks, but back then I don’t think ng had a real delete project button.

And yeah, I guess that’s kinda just what being popular is, but how do you know that they don’t listen behind the scenes. Everyone is busy and may not have time to fave and reply. Perfect of example with me, @Overscore.

I am just like you and I sometimes feel people never actually listen to what I make, but in a case where that fact is completely false is with something I stated to Overscore in which I thought Along the waves was the first 5 star he’s given me… that was dead wrong cause behind the scenes he’s given me even more then what I thought, I just can’t see it lol.
That’s why I have an odd feeling that even waterflame may listen to my content, and I just can’t see it, since he’s so busy, wants to keep stuff private, or not overload his faves section.

You just never know, waterflame may actually be one of my greatest fans(but probably not let’s be real XD), but imagine who is listening to you and just doesn’t have the time to fave.

Keep moving bro! Never stop producing!

Have you ever tried exploring a completely different art medium? What would happen if you tried, as an example, expressing yourself with art instead? Discovering something new might spark your curiosity and drive.

I used a track u made few days ago in video, kina weird to think i habe something on my hard drive that creator of it hates.

N***a, just make music for yourself. You got a subscriber base and talent why not try and sell some commercial links ya kno? Maybe make connections? Save the cash so you can invest it into your future endeavors? Popularity is nice and all but they aint living your life. You do.

Newgrounds is great, but, like everything in life, it won't provide everything one person needs. Whether you explore other hobbies, make a big change to your life, or just take a break, you should try to find something that works. Humans thrive on change but abhor disruption.
Sometimes you have to stumble away from the path ahead - you'll discover things you couldn't see on your journey before.
(Even when your tracks aren't frontpaged, hundreds of people still listen to them, and I'd like to think at least a quarter of those people listen through the whole song. I certainly do.)

i thought about shifting my trajectory in music making fairly recently and i can understand everything you said here, but i don't really think your latest tracks were "mediocre", not even near mediocre.
perhaps just take another break from music making, try to explore different things (not like "quit music" of course, maybe try listening to/making other genres? who knows, you might get inspired by something), maybe you'll start producing again very soon, with the same or not the same output as before, does not matter, just do what you like and keep challenging yourself. don't think of "i am stagnating... my music is mediocre..." again.

You do what feels right to you, but I hope you know we all hope that you keep creating music… you have an IMMENSE amount of fans, and every one of them followed you because they liked the music you make! And I would agree with them. So if you’re going to shift your focus away from music, don’t do it because you think people don’t like it anymore… you couldn’t be further from the truth.
If anything, I’d say the reason people maybe dont review your stuff as much anymore is because you release such high-quality content every single day, everyone is just kinda accustomed to it by now 😂

Totally agree with comments

hey dude! some of us (me lol) have been releasing music for almost 20 years on NG and have less fans and views. if subscribers are everything making music is about for you, then i respect the hustle and think you're doing a great job, but that's not what's at the heart of a true musician. we do it because we love it, we love the process, the experimentation, the creation of something new that no ones heard before. not every song is gonna be a banger, but you shouldn't let that slow you down. i'm sorry you're having a hard time with this, and i hope you can get through it and enjoy the process again

Thanks, dude, you've opened my eyes to the fact that I actually have something that I've been actively striving for for two years, and I don't appreciate it all. thank you very much! Indeed, I really shouldn't stop because there are few people who appreciate my attempts to experiment with genres of music. After all, I don't necessarily have to have a lot of statistics on every song.

came across this after seeing your posts in the APC, you are very talented in music making, hell even making the frontpage a handful of times. i wish i could be able to do that; at most i can only make crappy remixes of existing songs. feel free to take a pause if it no longer makes you happy, and focus on getting into a healthy mental state if you are not :)

Heart Breaking, I wish I could've known about you earlier.

@G2961 you rock man! just keep going :)

please don't leave new grounds I love all of your music and I'm using it in the gauntlet contest and then I wouldn't have your amazing song in my level please don't leave g2961 you are the best

Кста, че за тема со свистком, че за deity

Это надо много жаловаться на запрещённые треки и не только. Я на теме ИИ треков поднялся до Deity, лол. На это мне потребовалось около года, может меньше.

Hearing this makes me sad, because I really enjoy listening to your music. I hope you don't delete your account.

everything is fine, I will never allow myself to delete my long work, because it is enough for me to remember at what cost I achieved all this in order to delete it all later. Thank you for worrying about me!

Dude there in never a need to overwork urself. I know the pain so please take it from me... take a break and maybe announce it so that ur fans don't wonder where u go and speculate something. You don't need to make ur heavenly songs this constantly, you can takes breaks.

Yours sincerely, Tenako (RalX250).

Just make music for yourself man. No need to be sad. I like you (as a producer) for making music for fun instead of us.

Just keep cooking

Thanks, bro! I promise, I will keep trying!

@G2961 NP, i just care about people

@G2961 Thats good becuase your improving every time. The old project might be worse then what you do now and thats becuase you are improving. You started at Fl Studio Mobile probably tweaking on how you use the piano roll. And look at you now. You became a better producer. If you need anything. I'm here to help :)

@HellloMusic as an FL mobile producer of 6 years, I also still tweak on how to use the piano roll
