I totally understand peoples frustrations with ai, It should be used as a tool to aid people in creating but people are using it to replace the process entirely, thank you for helping clear the audio portal of AI music
I agree with you! AI can be useful as a musician's assistant, because AI learns from live songs, although not always as well as it could be. I am happy to serve the audio portal, because I know that I cannot allow an unsuspecting user of the audio portal to scout some kind of AI user.

How do you figure it out?
AI music usually sounds like a lot of noise has been added to a song with a low bitrate, or something like that. Over time, a hearing is developed for this AI.
Thanks for clearing up the portal! It's kinda scary how far generative A.I stuff has got (and how fast it's progressing)... I feel like there are useful uses for it (cleaning up badly damaged audio or stem separation for remixes etc...), but when people are just using it to produce an end result it's a really sad state of things for art.
I feel like people have forgotten that making art isn't just about the end result or money/efficiency. It's about having that balance of a fun/frustrating journey with all the blood sweat and tears that come with it. All those shitty recording takes, all those snapped strings and lyric rewrites and happy accidents, it's all part of the art, not just the finished recording you hear. It's also that feeling of "whoa, someone actually took the time to make this". Maybe I'm just getting old XD
Also, that low-bitrate telltale of a.i. you mentioned and acquiring an ear for detecting it: I don't know if other people have it I have a similar thing for certain pitch correction plug-ins. Sometimes it's a cool and intentional thing, but other times it's got that really grating buzz to it (Melodyne especially for me) XD Now I'm definitely sounding old!

Talking about Suno AI, when I was just exprimenting, I expected the discord server to be full of people that loves Suno for exprimenting but no.
The majority of the discord server use this for business which made me really frustrated. Then I left the server and just exprimenting. Sometimes i do make real music in FLM, which i'm just trying to see and probably later. I might post one of my FLM songs here!

I think this is a good progress in modern technology, but it should not affect anything related to creativity, such as this website.
Я очень давно хочу научиться делать музыку (в конце концов, именно из-за неё я изначально пришёл на ньюграундс), но пользоваться этой ИИ-дриснёй я никогда в жизни не буду... Лучше я и дальше не буду уметь её делать, чем вместо меня её будет делать ИИ и я буду выдавать это за что-то своё
