I think it is comparable to singers using "Auto-tune" for their vocals or even Drum machines for their drum tracks.
Time aligning is also using AI in its primitive form.
In the end, I still had to guide and construct the song using my lyrics and song structures.
The end results were very impressive to be honest!
I think that the niche is using AI for mastering and defining what sound you want in the final mix.
This is clearly used in Reaper with the OZONE plugin and other plugins.
Look, if you want a purely untainted music channel, then create one that you ban all forms of automation.
